A Christmas Celebration with Our Community

Image
On Tuesday, December 23, 2025 , we had a special Christmas event with the children in our community. It was a day full of fun, sharing, and joy! We started by giving out small toys , candies , and biscuits to all the kids. It was great to see their big smiles as they received these little surprises! 🎁🍬🍪 The fun didn’t stop there! We all joined together to dance to Christmas music. Everyone, young and old, enjoyed moving to the music and celebrating together. 💃🕺🎶 And of course, we had a very special guest  Santa Claus ! 🎅 He was there to make the day even more magical. The children loved seeing Santa and telling him their Christmas wishes. 🎄✨ This day was a reminder of the true meaning of Christmas: sharing and spreading joy . We are so happy to have spent this time with our community, making memories and bringing happiness to everyone. We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! 🎉🎁 Join Us for Our Next Event! Supporting Children's Health: Promoting Hydration and Hygiene During Hot Weather

Image
As the summer heat sets in, the Mamynysoa Association has launched a crucial initiative to promote better hydration and hygiene for children in the community. This project was born out of the association’s observations that many children either weren’t carrying water bottles or, in some cases, didn’t have access to one. Moreover, it became evident that many children were struggling with excess mucus, highlighting a need for improved hygiene habits. In response to these challenges, Mamynysoa   association distributed eco-friendly gourd water bottles to encourage children to drink more water, especially as temperatures soar. The bottles are not only an environmentally friendly alternative but also serve as a practical tool to remind children to stay hydrated throughout the day. Alongside the water bottles, handkerchiefs were also provided to help children address hygiene concerns. Many children were seen with mucus, making it clear that promoting good habits around blowing the nos...

MamynySoa Association’s Commitment to Community Development Through Road Rehabilitation

Image
In the rural community of Isahafa, the headquarters of the MamynySoa Association, roads are more than just paths; they are lifelines. Children use them to reach school, parents walk them to get to work or the market, and families rely on them every day. But during the rainy season, these roads become almost impassable  muddy, slippery, and dangerous . Workers, children are forced to remove their shoes and walk barefoot through the mud just to go to work and to go to school. It’s unsafe, uncomfortable, and puts them at risk of illness or injury. At MamynySoa Association , we knew we couldn't wait for help to come from elsewhere. With only two months before the heavy rains, we took the initiative to rent a road compactor for two days and improve the most damaged parts of the road. Our goal was simple but urgent: make the road safer, especially for children. Of course, we didn’t do this alone. The project was carried out in collaboration with the municipality and the local r...

Building a Future Through Language: MamynySoa’s Language Club

Image
At Association MamynySoa , we believe in giving children the tools to dream big, explore new opportunities, and build a brighter future. In our rural community, access to quality language education is limited. Public schools teach primarily in Malagasy, our local language, which is vital for preserving our culture and heritage. But we recognize that learning additional languages like French, our official language, and English, the international language, is crucial for broadening horizons, expanding knowledge, and opening doors to global opportunities. MamynySoa has launched a Language Club where children can explore French and English in a fun, interactive, and welcoming environment. Our sessions are held every Wednesday afternoon at our association’s learning space. During these two-hour meetings, we engage children with songs, games, storytelling, and conversations all designed to make language learning enjoyable and accessible. Our mission is simple: to make learning lang...
